Hello, world. I am Zebulun.
I serve as a combat medic in the US Army. My work here teaches me to stay calm under immense pressure, to triage fast, and to care deeply about the people around me. I use these same habits on production incidents, on hard chapters, and on difficult clients.
I founded SimuCorps together with some close friends several years ago, and I lead its engineering department. The whole point of us starting the company was because we love building software, and we care about the quality we put into our work.
I built and designed Gem, a statically typed programming language built for safety and clarity. I published my first novel in 2023 and I am writing the second.
Off the clock you will find me deep in a WoW dungeon, arguing on the internet, or eating random nonsense.
